Our headers
produce dramatic increases in low to
midrange horsepower and large
gains in torque for pulling power.
Introduced in 1996, NWOR 3.0 V6 headers feature
"no gasket required," laser cut precision flanges, 1/2"
thick blanchard-ground flanges, 14
gauge tubing, and ball joint
collectors with heavy duty flanges. Lighter header
tubing, used on EFI trucks which operate at high engine temperatures,
can suffer from early burn-out and cracking.
Our headers carry a limited lifetime warranty. Ask
your salesperson for a copy of our warranty card. NWOR 3.0
V6 headers are designed to "scavenge", or create, a suction-like
force in the exhaust system. This allows rapid heat
dissipation permitting the engine to run at cooler temperatures
which causes a greater amount of unburned gases to be withdrawn
from the cylinders. This allows a greater
fresh air/fuel mixture to be introduced producing more
efficient engine operation. NWOR V6 headers have provisions
for all emission fittings and sensors, welded in place in
the proper location for quick installation; our headers install
without removing engine mounts. NWOR
headers have been designed for maximum clearance between the
truck body - "they will not cook your starter motor
or burn your carpet" like brand "D" headers. The choice of
professional installers. Our 14 gauge Y-Pipe system features
ball joint collectors-no gaskets, and
is self-aligning. The Y-Pipe routes above the frame
and transfer case mounts to ensure maximum ground clearance
and proper location of the O2 sensor at the converter inlet. |
