Ultra Torque Header

NWOR's TRI-Y DESIGN: This design pairs the small 1-3/8" primary tubes into 1-1/2" secondary tubes-a four into two-two into one formation. On the 20-22R Toyota these small tube Tri-Y headers significantly increase the cylinder scavenging effect by using the pulse of exhaust velocity from another cylinder. The Tri-Y is especially effective on Toyota's 20-22R cross-flow head design. NWOR offers eight 4cyl headers, all with different, welded-in-place emission fittings. All fit properly, are guaranteed, and produce strong horsepower gains in the 2000-4000 rpm range, especially on the EFI Toyota engine. Dollar for dollar, no single investment in Toyota truck performance equipment will do as much to improve the low and mid-range performance and efficiency of the 20-22R Toyota engine as our NWOR Tri-Y HEADER SYSTEM.

EMISSION HEADERS*

All emission headers feature fully machined air injector and oxygen sensor mounting flanges welded in place in the proper location. This allows proper retrofitting, and is acceptable at most vehicle inspection stations. NWOR offers optional precision-engineered header-to-catalytic converter hook-up pipes. To Order: (Example) N31002 header uses a N31002-HP converter pipe. See page 10 for photo.
* IMPORTANT ORDERING INFO:
Please check carefully before ordering. Look at your exhaust manifold after removing the heat shield to identify emission tubing style as shown below. NWOR headers are built precisely for each model's emission fittings.
