TURBO 350 TRANSFER CASE ADAPTERS
'79-'83
The
'79-'83 Toyota requires using a transfer case adapter
that is
3-3/8" long. This precision machined,
one-piece adapter provides precise alignment of the transmission/transfer
case. The two units are coupled together with an exclusive
coupler/internal support bearing assembly to ensure a leak-free
installation and eliminate vibration problems. We have sold
many replacement adapters to customers who made the
mistake of purchasing a 2-piece style adapter first! |

If
you have a 4WD TH350 transmission you may purchase the adapter,
less shaft, at a reduced price. This adapter, when used for
V8 installations in 1984-1995 models, should eliminate driveline
modifications.

The
700R-4 transfer case adapter is becoming popular due
to a
first gear ratio that is 17% lower
than the Turbo 350 transmission, plus the advantage of a
4th gear that is a 30%
overdrive.
This greatly reduces engine rpm at highway speeds and will
increase fuel economy. Chevy V8 conversions will require
minor driveshaft modifications. The 2nd version 4L60-E 1997
and
later has a removable bell housing and requires an additional
adapter. This adapter converts the hex bolt to a square
pattern.

C4 TRANSFER CASE ADAPTERS
| The
C4 transmission is an extremely compact and rugged unit.
This
adapter, when used in '84-'95 trucks,
eliminates both driveshaft modifications and transfer
case mount relocation. The C4 adapter features an exclusive
design, coupler/internal support bearing
assembly to ensure a smooth, vibration-free installation.
The adapter, when used in '79-'85 trucks and 4Runners, requires
minor driveshaft modifications. |

IMPORTANT! Please
state: Year of Toyota, gear or chain-driven transfer
case and number of input splines in transfer case
- 21, 23, or 26 tooth. Gear drive transfers have
a 7 bolt cover. All chain driven use 5 bolt rear
cover.
